National Level Science Olympiad (NLSO)
Testing the knowledge and competency of students in Science based on the syllabus prescribed by CBSE, ICSE and State Boards.
The National Level Science Olympiad (NLSO) is a National Level Competitive Examination designed to test the knowledge and competency of students in Science, based on the syllabus prescribed by CBSE, ICSE, and State Boards.
Students from Classes I to X are eligible to participate in this examination. For Classes I and II, the focus is on evaluating basic scientific awareness, observation skills, and conceptual understanding in an age-appropriate manner. For Classes III to X, the examination assesses subject knowledge, conceptual clarity, and application of scientific principles as per their respective class curriculum.
Students can participate in this competitive examination only through their schools.
- To provide a National level platform for students to compete with their peer in Science
- To provide an opportunity to begin a systematic preparation towards competitive examinations those come after Class X and XII.
- To strengthen the understanding of concepts and skills
- Improves the academic performance of students.
- Stimulates the student's interest and enthusiasm in problem solving, creative thinking and critical analyzing
- Opportunity to explore and nurture the creativity and talents.
- It helps students to systematically prepare and confidently appear for various competitive examinations like IIT-JEE, NEET, CAT, GMAT, Civil Service Exams, IBPS etc
- Develops confidence and competency in students.
- Participation Certificate to all the participants for each examination. Excellence certificate to students scoring 60% and above marks

National Level Awards
- First Rank (Classes III-X): ₹ 10,000, Gold Medal & Certificate
- Second Rank (Classes III-X): ₹ 5,000, Gold Medal & Certificate
- Third Rank (Classes III-X): ₹ 2,000, Gold Medal & Certificate
- Next 50 Students (A1/A2 Grade, Classes III-X): Gold Medal, Resource book & Certificate
- Next 100 Students (A1/A2 Grade, Classes III-X): Gold Medal & Certificate
School Level Prizes
- Best Performance Award: For schools with minimum 1200 enrollment, the top-scoring student receives ₹ 5,000, a Gold Medal, and a Certificate. (One prize per school)
- Class Toppers (min. 50 enrollments): Top two rank holders receive a Gold Medal & Resource Book and a Silver Medal, respectively.
- Class Toppers (min. 25 enrollments): Top two rank holders receive a Gold Medal and a Silver Medal, respectively.
General Recognition
- Certificate of Excellence: Awarded to all participants achieving a B2 grade or higher.
- Participation Certificate: Issued to all participants.
